The 1000km race at Donington will be a special into-the dusk 90-minute race that has attracted a great variety of pre-1972 prototypes, touring and GT cars. There is also an invitation class for some later GT cars of similar performance. This year there will be two podiums, with a-race-within-a-race for pre-1966 cars, and already we have had a very positive response. This will be a very special event at the Donington Historic Festival.
The Royal Automobile Club Tourist Trophy for Historic Cars is a prestigious Pre-'63 GT feature race at the Silverstone Classic for early spec cars that are not often seen on the circuit. A gentlemanly affair where precious cars can be driven at a big, International event for the coveted Royal Automobile Club Trophy – a perpetual trophy that lives in the club’s Pall Mall clubhouse.
